Jessie Nelson, who will pen the book for the forthcoming Waitress musical at ART, has announced in her bio that she’s working on a musical adaptation of her 1994 film Corrina, Corrina alongside composer Alan Menken (Aladdin) and lyricist Brian Yorkey (If/Then), for six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald.
