Review: The Commons of Pensacola (Northlight Theatre)
Amanda Peet's first foray into playwrighting was inspired by seeing Ruth Madoff, the wife of convicted Ponzi schemer Bernie Madoff, on 60 Minutes. It was a good inspiration " to explore the aftermath of such heinous crimes on the family of the criminal. But sadly, this 80-minute play does little to explore these themes, and is more sloppy than eye-opening. (read John Olson's entire review....)
