Operagoers attending the opening-night production of The Marriage of Figaro at the Metropolitan Opera were greeted by more than 1,000 protestors at Lincoln Center Plaza who had gathered to protest the upcoming production of John Adams' The Death of Klinghoffer, according to the Wall Street Journal.
