The Shubert Foundation in New York announced the recipients of its 2014 grants on Friday. This year the foundation awarded $22.5 million to non-profit performing arts organizations. 22 Chicago organizations received grants altogether totaling $1.18 million. The largest amount awarded in 2014 was $300,000 to both the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and Lincoln Center Theater in New York City.
