Marta Sanders is a very "Funny Valentine!" Everything she does in her show at the Laurie Beechman Theatre is wonderful. From the moment she enters, draped in a hot pink boa singing Peter Matz's razzle-dazzle arrangement of "Down with Love" (E.Y. "Yip"Harburg/Harold Arlen) we're hooked. It takes a special kind of person to open a Valentine's show with that number and turn it into a celebration of love.
