Broadway Songwriter Robert Lopez Joins Ranks of EGOT Recipient with "Frozen" Oscar Win
Robert Lopez, the 39-year-old songwriter who made his Tony Award-winning Broadway debut in 2003 with Avenue Q, has become the 12th individual to join the prestigious ranks of EGOT, having completed his mantle of honors with the Oscar for Best Original Song for the breakaway hit "Let It Go" from the Disney animated film musical "Frozen."
