The New York premieres of Bess Wohl's American Hero, directed by Leigh Silverman (Chinglish, Well, Violet), and Tanya Saracho's Mala Hierba, directed by Jerry Ruiz, will be presented as part of the Second Stage Theatre's 12th annual Uptown Series this summer.
