The Australian stage spectacle King Kong, a rock-fueled spin on beauty and the beast, ends its extended run Feb. 16 at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne. The musical that features a six-meter-tall massive silverback ape puppet as its titular character will likely stalk New York next.
