Natya Dance Theatre has always aimed high. For 40 years, artistic director Hema Rajagopalan has remained true to the traditions of bharata natyam even as she's hauled Indian classical dance, kicking and screaming, into the world of her adopted country. And NDT had considerable success with its 2006 Lookingglass Theatre collaboration, the musical "Sita Ram," briefly reincarnated at the Harris last December.  …
