Though all of the elements are here, adaptor/director Heidi Stillman misses one essiential thing: respect for the audience's intelligence. If only Stillman had left out the superfluous narration throughout, and let us enjoy the stellar acting, sharp production values and compelling story, this would be a commendable work. (read more...)
