New chamber group makes a splendid debut
The Philadelphia Orchestra is full of part-time chamber ensembles - and that's not changing with the discontinuation of its Perelman Theater series devoted to the medium in which most composers did their greatest work. Orchestra-sponsored chamber concerts at alternative venues will be announced later this fall.
