Ivo Van Hove Will Stage World-Premiere Opera of Brokeback Mountain
Madrid's Teatro Real will stage the world premiere of a new opera based on the Academy Award-winning Ang Lee film "Brokeback Mountain," which features a libretto by Annie Proulx, based on her short story, and a score by Charles Wuorinen.
