King Street Open Air Arena, Bristol: Needs must forced the Bristol Old Vic to stage its 2011 flagship production of Treasure Island on the cobbles outside its King Street home. The main house was closed for refurbishment, but the alfresco experience was such a success that it is again on the menu this summer, once more under the jaunty direction of Sally Cookson.
