Ashton Springer, Broadway Producer of Hit Revues, Dies at 82 by Robert Simonson

Ashton Springer, a Broadway producer whose credits included the hit musical revues Bubbling Brown Sugar and Eubie!, died July 15 in Mamaroneck, NY. The cause of death was pneumonia. He was 82.
