I picked up
where I left off on David Wojnarowicz's bio, Fire in the Belly, by Cynthia Carr. I'm still somewhat early on in the book, and she's talking about his "cryptic phase." I had to share this sentence--Like many young writers, he was struggling to disgorge his real subject matter and let it blurt.I love that.
