In 1999, the siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer formed the production and performing duo the Knife, in Stockholm. In 2002, they released a track called “Heartbeats,” which changed their lives—it was a huge hit. The song, which opens their second album, “Deep Cuts . . . (Subscription required.)
