"Smash" Drama Series Will Launch in 2012 With Christian Borle, Megan Hilty, Debra Messing by Kenneth Jones

NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt announced on May 15 that "Smash," the new hourlong drama-with-music about the making (and makers) of a Broadway musical, will launch on the network in early 2012 as a midseason Monday-night show.
