As promised, the Mayor's proclamation that "March is Cabaret Month" made its star-studded debut Wednesday. Its formal reading, dramatically enhanced by a bevy of performers, took place on Wednesday evening with much fanfare, complete with many whereases and other legalistic flourishes, at the Cabaret Hotline Anniversary Gala at the Laurie Beechman Theater.
