Born in London, he appeared on stages across the United States and England in a wide range of plays, from Noel Coward to Shakespeare to "The Foreigner," and in musicals such as "Camelot," "The Sound of Music" and "The King and I," among others. On television he was most recently seen in HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."
