New Wolsey, Ipswich: A sure-fire way of minimising the suspense in a thriller is to give the actors too many lines and too much back story to impart. By the end of the first act of the prodigious Michael Lesslie's new play the problem becomes less about the sheer tonnage of dialogue and more about the fact that large slices of it are starting to sound like gibberish.
