The Playhouse, Nottingham: What the audience doesn't see here is as funny, riveting and important as what it does see, whether it's watching one player and invisible opponent in a brilliantly choreographed tennis match or seeing 'little brutes of children' running riot round a bonfire that we can only imagine.
