The Greater Hartford Arts Counci l announced its study of the economic impact of the not-for-profit arts and culture industry in the region, reporting that the arts/culture industry generated $230.4 million in annual economic activity — supporting 6,879 full-time equivalent jobs and creating $21.4 million in local and state government revenues.
