The title of Lisa D'Amour's briskly funny but blurry dark comedy "Detroit" could be misleading. The play, a 2011 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, doesn't take place in the Motor City. It unfolds in a "'first-ring' suburb outside of a midsize American metropolis," per a Playbill note.
