Tabard, London: The original production of this Cole Porter and Moss Hart collaboration ran for 169 performances in the 1935/6 season on Broadway and garnered respectable reviews. Rather than letting the material become part of the usual amateur rental catalogue, the producers sent the orchestrations out for performance personally, until one day the material was never returned.
