Painting into a Corner (and a Conscience)
I spent today painting 50 pieces of leather to look like sardines and applying gold-leaf to a "bible" that in a previous life was a Merriam-Webster Dictionary. You know, just a typical day in the office.  I'm a scenic artist. Basically, that means I paint sets and sometimes props. I don't make decisions about what they look like or what color to paint them-" essentially I'm a human xerox machine.…
