Kneel Before Zod: Michael Shannon to Play 'Superman' Villain
Mr. Shannon, who is known for the unearthly menace he brings to his characters on television's "Boardwalk Empire" and off Broadway's "Mistakes Were Made," will play an evil tyrant from Superman's planet in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" movie.
