Truth be told, the audience was an equally eclectic bunch. There were the typical Sondheim fans: Elaine Stritch, who appeared in the musical's original company, and designer Michael Kors. There were the typical symphony patrons like John Lithgow, Alec Baldwin, Honey Kurtz and Karen LeFrak, the latter three members of its Board of Trustees.
