Octagon Theatre, Bolton: For several decades Terence Rattigan's plays were out of favour, dismissed for having an upper middle class milieu. However, attitudes began to change around the turn of millennium, and The Winslow Boy was revived in 1999 by David Mamet's film and, a couple of years later, appeared at the Chichester Festival, under Christopher Morahan's direction.
