Ulu Grosbard, Director of The Subject Was Roses and The Price, Dead at 83 by Robert Simonson

Ulu Grosbard, a Belgian-born American stage director who brought a naturalistic touch, intelligence, a low profile and unending patience to premieres by Frank D. Gilroy, David Mamet and Arthur Miller, died on March 18 in Manhattan. He was 83.
