This 'Mary Poppins' needs another spoonful of charm
Her note said, "Au revoir," and, true to her word, the grandmother of all nannies is back. Before Nanny McPhee or TV's Supernanny, there was Mary Poppins, and she still rules. And flies. The touring company blew into town and will be at the Academy of Music until April 17.
