Nominees for the 28th Annual Helen Hayes Awards, representing excellence in the Washington, DC, theatre community, were announced Feb. 27. The list of more widely-known performers nominated includes Euan Morton, Cate Blanchett, Jan Maxwell, Leah Hocking, Hugo Weaving, J. Mark McVey, Tracy Letts, Amy Morton, Paxton Whitehead and Sahr Ngaujah, among others.
