Despite a few problematic elements, Lyric has revived *Show Boat* in a way that would surely please Kern, Hammerstein, Ferber and the god of theatre himself, Dionysus. Intrigue, suspense, laughter, tears, visual and aural heaven: it's all here. Get on board!
