Musical Valley Girl Film Remake in the Works
Paramount and MGM have joined forces to mount a musical remake of the 1983 comedy Valley Girl, according to Deadline.com. The film, which has been in the works since 2009, will feature direction by Clay Weiner, a screenplay by Jenny Lumet and new wave musical numbers inspired by '80s bands like The Go Go’s and The Cars.
