Turning Graveyard Shift Experiences Into MASKS by Terryl Daluz

Most LA actors take other jobs to support their acting. But how many of them turn their experiences on those jobs into an award-winning play (with roles for themselves, of course)? Inspired by the young men they worked with as graveyard-shift residential counselors in the group home system, Terryl Daluz and Mann Alfonso created MASKS, which won an NAACP Award even before it opens next weekend in NoHo.
