Review: Fiddler on the Roof (Broadway in Chicago)
As Tevye, John Preece has been in over 3,400 productions of Fiddler, and he's played the lead over 1,700 times. And it shows! Preece is a perfectly, personable Tevye, commanding the stage with a vulnerability that feels organic. Though the set is a whittled-down to simplify the endless packing-unpacking of a show on tour, this Fiddlerr is still highly recommended.
