Smithsonian Plan to Remove Murals From Los Angeles Lobby Is Criticized by Eve M. Kahn

The Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture is planning to buy and remove murals by the African-American painters Charles Alston and Hale Woodruff that now cover the lobby walls of a building in Los Angeles, over the objections of preservationists.
