Third time unlucky? by James Grainger

Critics anointed Jeffrey Eugenides as a major American novelist with the publication of his structurally audacious debut novel, The Virgin Suicides, in 1993. His 2003, Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Middlesex was one of the most talked about and praised literary titles of the year, meaning that his long-awaited follow up, The Marriage Plot, will likely receive the same treatment.
