It's hard to remember the last time Frank Langella appeared on a New York stage without the critical corps not appreciating him being there. Ever since his reemergence in the late '90s as a regular stage presence, reviewers have hailed his every return, and the actor has collected some nice dividends in the form of a couple Tony Awards.
