The Times recently reported the death of D. L. Cox, a former member of the Black Panthers who "earned a moment of celebrity in 1970 when he spoke at the Leonard Bernstein fund-raising party in Manhattan," an event best remembered today as the subject of Tom Wolfe's witheringly funny satire "Radical Chic: That Part at Lenny's."
