Rumor has it that “Funny Girl,” the hit 1967 musical by Jule Styne and Isobel Lennart, will now be the subject of a highly anticipated revival effort. Bob Boyett, the producer for the “Girl” revival, is launching the musical in Los Angeles at the Ahmanson Theatre before relocating the production to Broadway in April, 2012.
