Another arts budget in the black
Another local arts group with good financial news to report: The Seattle Chamber Music Society announces that its 30th anniversary season ended with no accumulated deficit. The society also reports that the 2011 Winter Festival ticket sales were the highest ever; sales for the Summer Festival were the second-highest ever; and individual contributions to the SCMS were up 25% this year.
