Tonys spark B'way by Robert Hofler (Variety)
The TV ratings may have landed in the dumper, but Broadway liked its Tony Awards. Box office rose $835,208, up 5.68% from the previous week, for a grand total of $15,548,185. Those numbers were good enough to crush the old post-Tony record of $14.45 million set in June 2003.
