Rupert Holmes, it can certainly be said, is a man of mysteries. The playwright/composer won three Tonys for the musical "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" and an Edgar award for the Broadway thriller "Accomplice." With his first suspense novel, "Where the Truth Lies," he turns out a book that has all the popular bounce of "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)," a mega-hit he wrote and performed.
