Captured by 'Imagination' by Gordon Cox
Playwright and poet Cornelius Eady accepted the 2002 Newsday Oppy Award yesterday for "Brutal Imagination," which gives poetic voice to the imaginary black criminal invented by Susan Smith, the infamous South Carolina woman who murdered her two young children in 1994.
