Gershwin and Heyward Estates Greenlight The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess for Broadway
Producers Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel in association with the American Repertory Theater announced Sept. 14 that the estates of George and Ira Gershwin, and Dubose and Dorothy Heyward have given their blessing to the Broadway-bound revival of The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, which will be leavin' soon for New York after its current run at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA.
