Leisl Tommy, August Wilson and An Angel in the Snow
Recently, a few hours after a recent snowstorm brought much of Connecticut to a halt, I met with Liesl Tommy who was directing the upcoming production of August Wilson's "The Piano Lesson" at Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven. She and the cast were stuck in downtown New Haven and that day's rehearsal was going forward, snow drifts or no. (I lived downtown, too, and easily made it to the interviiew.) …
