Bill T. Jones was choreographing a new piece at Bard College up the Hudson yesterday when producer Steve Hendel called with the news: "Fela!" their Broadway musical about Nigerian, composer, musician and activist Fela Kuti, was nominated for 11 Tony Awards yesterday.
