Time Lords A-Leaping: Steven Moffat Explains the 'Doctor Who' Christmas Special by Dave Itzkoff

This year's special, a science-fiction tribute to Dickens's "Christmas Carol," will also be the first "Doctor Who" episode to have its premiere in the United States and Britain on the same day.
