We expect movies stars to do hack work for easy money. Who begrudges Joan Allen her appearance in "Death Race" or Jeremy Irons in "Dungeons & Dragons?" But to see these seasoned actors in something as lousy as Michael Jacobs' "Impressionism" is simply embarrassing, a waste of talent nowhere near as fun as a summer popcorn flick.
