Perhaps it would have been better if the performers of Jazz Tap Ensemble had been less thoroughly observant and skillful in their mimicry of such dancers as Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, the Nicholas Brothers, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Eleanor Powell, and Ann Miller.
